This In-Person Live class integrates TaiChi and ChiKung exercise, with focus on improving balance, range of movement, flexibility as well as muscle strength and joint health. Invigorating the body at first, then switching to more meditative and therapeutic movements. The advantage of this class is that I’m there with you, able to correct you and give you direct attention in person. Also, it allows you to socialize with like minded people and form social connections.
This is a great hybrid solution – combining some of the benefits of training from the comfort of your own place and frontal class. If you like the benefits of training from home but lack the discipline necessary to actually find the time to practice, then I invite you to join one of my Zoom classes. These classes are taught in the same way as in all other types of classes, but adapted to a non-contact environment and at a specified UTC+02:00 Jerusalem time zone.
There are many good teachers and many sites where one can learn TaiChi. However, from experience over the last 20 years, it is very difficult, especially for beginners to learn from a video, even the ones showing from the back.
I have therefore decided to create this course specifically for beginners. The idea is to show short sequence units of movements and drills, to be combined and integrated over time in a clear and systematic manner. For those interested not just in health, but also in the martial art aspect of the art, some applications are shown as well.
This system of learning was slowly developed by me over the last 20+ years out of necessity and wish to teach in the most efficient way for us (me) westerners, and now, I feel confident sharing it with you.
